Meteorologist David Still joined the abc24 Weather Team in January 2010. With a cheerful smile and some southern comfort you can wake up to David each weekday morning on ABC24 and CW30 plus abc24 News Midday.

Originally from Georgia and raised in Charlotte, David had a three year stint forecasting some of the most dangerous weather in northwest Iowa landing him in a comfortable spot close to home, Dixie Alley. Whether it’s a Mid-South tornado outbreak, a far reaching tropical system, or a run on bread and milk winter event, you have your Still in the storm.

David is a degreed meteorologist with a Certificate of Major from The University of North Carolina at Asheville and has a bachelor’s degree in Communication from Appalachian State University. He holds the National Weather Association Seal of Approval and is a member of the American Meteorological Society.

David is no stranger to west Tennessee as he traveled here often when he lived in Nashville. David’s wife Erin is from Nashville and they spend a fair amount of time visiting friends and family in the Music City. When not at work David loves the company of his wife Erin and their adventures together. Luckily, she agrees that college football (Roll Tide) and Saturday naps are worthy adventures. Some of David’s solo journeys include hunting, fishing, and anything that involves BBQ (watch out Memphis in May). When nobody is around to listen his old guitar and mandolin get a little workout.
