MEMPHIS WEATHER--Good Tuesday morning! The heavy rain that swept across the Mid-South overnight has lifted out of the area. However, remaining moisture will rotate into the Mid-South today bringing hit and miss light showers to the area. Cooler air will slowly begin to filter into the area today with temperatures in the mid and upper 40's. A mostly cloudy sky will hang around for the rest of the week. Arctic air will slide into the area and will be the cause of colder high temperatures going forward. Computer models are hinting at the small opportunity of a flake or two Friday night into Saturday, but moisture will be extremely limited during this time frame. Sunshine will return for the second half of the weekend and temperatures will warm up by next Monday.
