MEMPHIS, TN--Low temperatures tonight will not be as cold as previous nights, but will still require a coat. Locations east will still drop into the mid 30's by early tomorrow, while temperatures will hover around the 40 degree mark for our morning low. A chilly start on Friday will lend itself to a much warmer afternoon. Southerly winds will transport warmer air into the Mid-South starting tomorrow. High temperatures will climb into the mid 60's by tomorrow afternoon. Even warmer weather is on the way for the weekend with highs on Sunday in the lower 70's. Mid and high level clouds will begin streaming into the area tomorrow afternoon. Clouds will hang around for the weekend, but the best available moisture in the atmosphere will stay west of the viewing area. Therefore, expect rain-free conditions through Monday.
Our next, decent rain-maker arrives early Tuesday. Widespread rain (heavy at times) and a few thunderstorms will be possible on Tuesday. Temperatures will drop slightly once the rain ends on Wednesday. Dry weather with seasonable temperatures return by the middle part of next week.
Have a great evening!
