The furnace will still be working in overdrive, but at least it will look warmer with full sunshine being the theme for a while. Clouds quickly decrease this morning as high pressure arrives overhead. Despite the sunny look we'll remain cold with highs in the lower 40s this afternoon and more of that for Friday. We tap into a south wind by Saturday ushering in milder air and a fair amount of cloud cover. A few sprinkles are not out of the question midday Saturday with highs around 50.
We turn almost balmy by mid-week before a big storm system impacts the Mid South in the late Wed/Thursday time frame. This one will be all rain.
