MEMPHIS WEATHER--Light showers will continue this morning across the Mid-South, but the majority of today will be dry. Clouds will begin to clear after noon and into the afternoon. Meanwhile, cooler air is working into the area under a very breezy northerly wind. Memphis has already reached its high temperature for today just after midnight. Temperatures will fall into the mid and upper 40's by late morning. Temperatures will hold nearly steady for the afternoon before dropping into the 30's this evening. Clearing skies and temperatures near freezing are likely Friday night. Saturday will start off very chilly, but milder afternoon temperatures will arrive with highs in the upper 50's. The Mid-South will see a surge in warm temperatures and moisture on Sunday. Temperatures will climb into the mid 60's as a weather-maker heads toward the Mid-South. Heavy rain looks likely, especially across the southern portion of the area, by Sunday evening. Monday will bring a break in the rain before showers return on Tuesday.  Have a great weekend!
