MEMPHIS,TN--It's been a wonderful first day of fall in the Mid-South! Temperatures warmed up nicely, despite a breezy northerly wind. Winds will usher in much cooler temperatures tonight and lows will fall into the mid 40's and lower 50's area-wide. It will be a crisp start to our Sunday with a cool afternoon. Highs tomorrow will only climb into the mid 70's. It may be time to dig out the long sleeve shirts and sweaters along with your fall decor!

The roller coaster ride back to summer begins on Monday as a warm front lifts northward through the Mid-South. An isolated stray shower can't be ruled out as moisture creeps back into the area. However, the week ahead looks mostly dry. Temperatures by Tuesday will be back in the mid 80's and warm weather will continue into next weekend.

Have a great rest of your weekend!
