MEMPHIS, TN--We couldn't have asked for better weather this week. Temperatures have consistently been in the 80's each afternoon with lows in the 50's and 60's. This trend will continue for one more day before we through a curve ball into the forecast. Lows tonight will drop into the lower 60's in town, with mid 50's out east. Moisture will gradually return to the region tomorrow with more clouds increasing in the afternoon. Temperatures will still be able to climb into the lower 80's Thursday afternoon.

Our next weather-maker arrives early Friday morning. Friday's high temperature will happen early in the morning prior to the rain and cold air that will arrive midday. Scattered light showers will be on-going on and off throughout the day Friday. Temperatures will fall into the 50's by the afternoon and winds shift from the south to the northwest and usher in the much colder air.

Saturday will be very chilly for pre-Halloween activities and fall festivals. Highs will not climb out of the 50's both Saturday and Sunday. Overnight lows will be coldest Sunday night with clearing skies and calm winds. Areas out east will be at the greatest risk of seeing a frost. Lows in the city will drop into the upper 30's. Fall-like weather continues through next week with temperatures back in the upper 60's by Wednesday.

Have a great rest of the week!
