MEMPHIS, TN-- What an amazing day in the Mid-South! Breezy northerly winds have helped to push out the heat and humidity and usher in cooler and much drier air. Temperatures have struggled to climb into the mid and upper 70's this afternoon! Lows tonight will drop quickly once the sun goes down and winds back off. Overnight temperatures should drop into the lower and mid 50's for Sunday morning! Another picture-perfect day is on the way for Sunday with highs only slightly warmer in the lower 80's.
Low humidity will stick around through mid-week. By Wednesday, temperatures will climb back into the upper 80's under sunny skies, but it will still be quite pleasant for September. Our next weather-maker looks to arrive late Friday, but it does not appear as potent as our previous system. A few clouds and slight rain chances are in the forecast for late Friday and early Saturday.
