MEMPHIS--Isaac is no more, but moisture drawn northward into the Mid-South from Isaac will make for a muggy Labor Day Weekend. Temperatures will remain above normal for the next several days with highs climbing into the 90s through the middle of next week. Widely scattered showers and t-storms are possible Saturday & Sunday. By Monday showers and t-storms will become isolated. Hot and humid weather will be the main weather headline through the middle of next week. Wednesday night and Thursday, drier and cooler weather will arrive setting up a pleasant Friday. No tropical threats to the U.S. are looming which is great news for residents of the Gulf coast. Long term weather models indicate much cooler weather will arrive in the central U.S. towards the middle of September.
