MEMPHIS, TN--Moisture will slowly increase overnight tonight. Rain will hold off until tomorrow, but moisture return will help to keep overnight lows from being as frigid as last night. Lows tonight will drop into the lower 40's in town, with outlying areas in the mid 30's. Clouds will thicken up across the Mid-South through mid-morning tomorrow. Scattered showers will develop by midday and will continue for the better part of the afternoon and nighttime hours Monday. An isolated pocket of rain with thunder cannot be ruled out, but no severe weather is anticipated tomorrow. Temperatures will again be mild with highs in the mid and upper 50's.
Showers will wrap up by 3 a.m. Tuesday morning. Therefore, to reflect a mostly dry day, there is no chance for rain on our 7 day outlook map. High pressure builds in on Tuesday and that will make for a beautiful and pleasant mid-week forecast. Rain returns to the area on Friday with slight chances for showers lasting through next weekend.
Have a great week everyone!
