Memphis--A weather system north of the Mid-South has been producing showers and t-storms since Tuesday.  Each round of showers and t-storms has been developing farther south and Thursday will likely be the day that showers make it to the I-40 corridor.  That being said, much of Thursday will be dry with the best chance for rain in Memphis holding off until the evening.  Farther north showers will develop earlier during the morning and afternoon.  Friday into early Saturday represents the best time frame for showers and t-storms with drier and cooler air arriving by Saturday evening and night.  Seasonable weather will take us through the middle of next week.  Tuesday and Wednesday may also offer a few scattered showers but for now the forecast remains dry Sunday through mid week.
