MEMPHIS WEATHER--Clouds will continue to thicken up this morning as rain pushes northward into the Mid-South. Scattered showers will be possible first in northern Mississippi with showers arriving to the I-40 corridor after noon. An area of low pressure will spin through the Mid-South this evening and will bring heavier rain and a few storms to the Mid-South. The heaviest rain will be possible between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. this evening. Winds will be very breezy today on the order of 15-20 miles per hour. Temperatures will be able to climb into the upper 50's, despite cloud and rain. Showers will taper off after midnight and the area will get a break from the rain. However, a few light showers will rotate back into the area for Tuesday morning.
A dry and much cooler pattern sets up for the remainder of the week. Partly to mostly cloudy skies will be on the menu from Wednesday into next weekend. Have a great Monday everyone!
