MEMPHIS, TN-- After a gorgeous day in the Mid-South, clouds will return to the area tonight. Monday will be mostly cloudy and a degree or two cooler than Sunday afternoon. Showers will dive towards the Mid-South from the north tomorrow, impacting areas north of I-40 around noon. Showers will slide southward into the metro area in time for the evening commute, but they should be light. Most of the area will have scattered showers for Monday evening, but all rain will come to an end before midnight.
Sunshine and pleasant fall-like temperatures are on the way for Tuesday. The rest of the work week will be dry and a warming trend will ramp up by Thursday. Temperatures again will climb into the low and mid 70's by Friday and next weekend. Our next chance of rain after tomorrow will arrive by late next Sunday.
Have a great work week everyone!
