Memphis--Summer is officially gone, but temperatures will have none of it! Upper 80s to near 90 through Thursday remind us that we are barely out of summer. No cold snaps in the long term either, but we will trend towards seasonable as we enter the weekend and early next week. A warm front will lift north of the area Tuesday increasing temperatures and humidity. More importantly the storm track will also shift northward into the middle Mississippi and Ohio Valley regions. NE Arkansas will stand a chance of seeing isolated showers and storms, otherwise mostly dry weather is expected through Wednesday. Thursday, the chance of showers will increase along and north of a line from Caruthersville to Humboldt. Showers and t-storms will sag farther south Friday into the weekend.
