MEMPHIS, TN--Light rain showers can be found this evening, especially east of the Mississippi River. Much of northern Mississippi is water-logged from heavy rain Saturday night. Light showers will hang around in that area through 6 a.m. Monday morning. Meanwhile, drier air to our west will make a push into the Mid-South tomorrow morning. This will help to push remaining showers to the east and will help to clear clouds from west to east by midday. Temperatures on Monday will remain unseasonably warm with highs in the lower 60's.

Sunshine will be welcomed after a gloomy weekend. It will stick around through Wednesday morning before more clouds make a return. Our next rain-maker arrives Wednesday evening. Rain will overspread the Mid-South between 9 p.m. Wednesday and 6 a.m. Thursday morning. This will be a quick-moving system and will make for a mainly dry Thursday. This weather-maker will bring a significant cool down with temperatures on Thursday only reaching into the lower 50's. Overnight lows will drop to near freezing both Thursday and Friday nights. Next weekend looks to be sunny and pleasant.

Have a great work week everyone!
