MEMPHIS, TN--A few light showers can be found around the Mid-South this morning, but conditions will improve as the morning wears on. Patchy fog is likely this morning before sunrise. Northwesterly winds will become breezy during the morning hours and will help to usher in drier and cooler air to the region. Highs today will drop initially this morning into the middle 60's. Highs today will only climb into the lower 70's. It will be slightly milder southeast across northeastern Mississippi.

Clear skies overhead tonight will give way to a chilly evening. Overnight lows will drop to near 50 degrees in the metro area with most outlying areas in the 40's. Sunshine will be on the menu for the remainder of the week with temperatures gradually warming back up into the 80's by Thursday. A slight chance for rain is possible on Saturday, but the forecast looks mainly dry after today.

Have a great Tuesday everyone!
