Old Man Winter continues his Spring Break again today and Saturday. Our record high today is 77 which we won't come close to hitting, but how does 70 sound in mid January? Rain returns Saturday with showers breaking out early. A few thunderstorms are likely in the afternoon and evening with highs yet again in the low 70s. It is no doubt an indoor chore kind of a weekend.
Sunday through early Tuesday promise more rain, another few inches of rain in fact, with small stream and river flooding a possibility. Much colder air returns Sunday and it will feel like winter again making for a miserable couple of rainy days. It may be cold enough on Monday and Tuesday mornings for freezing rain in the Mid South. It is still too early to make the call on that one for now, but we'll keep a watchful eye on things over the weekend.
