A fast moving and compact upper level system is wreaking havoc in central and southern Mississippi this morning where 2-3 inches of snow is likely this morning. We even had a few flurries in town while you were sleeping. Fortunately for us we are done dealing with winter weather for a long time. Even better news, clouds decrease this afternoon and we warm into the mid 40s!
The next seven days will be dry and sunny. We'll see a few mild days this weekend (mid 50s Saturday), and then a few extra cold days next week, but all in all this will be a welcomed break from the active pattern.
