MEMPHIS, TN--The start of December brought unseasonably warm weather to the Mid-South. Even with filtered sunshine, a breezy southerly wind today pushed highs into the lower 70's area-wide. Temperatures will be a degree or two warmer on Sunday. The record high for Sunday is 81 degrees. We will be short of the record tomorrow, but Monday is a different story. The record high on Monday is 75 degrees and the Mid-South has a very real possibility of setting a new record.
Rain arrives to the Mid-South Monday night and rain will continue through the day Tuesday. Temperatures will be a touch cooler with highs falling back into the 60's for the remainder of the week. Sunshine returns for Wednesday and Thursday before another late week weather system brings more rain on Friday.
Have a great weekend!
