MEMPHIS, TN--It has been an absolutely picture perfect weekend with dry conditions and wonderful temperatures. The dry stretch will continue despite a few afternoon clouds Monday afternoon. Temperatures will certainly make for a treat with afternoon highs climbing into the low and mid 80's through Thursday. Clouds will increase Thursday evening ahead of the next weather system to affect the Mid-South.
By the end of the week, another weather-maker will head towards the Mid-South. It will be a slow-moving system to arrive, bringing showers and a few storms to the area late Friday and stalling out across the region. This will allow rain chances to carry over into much of Saturday before exiting the area. Temperatures will drop drastically with this system. A couple of computer models have some discrepancies with how low temperatures may go by Sunday morning. Temperatures will fall during the day on Saturday with lows in the 40's (and possibly 30's) by Sunday morning. Highs for Sunday afternoon will struggle to ready 60 degrees and that is an optimistic high temperature given a couple of model trends.
Have a great week everyone!
