MEMPHIS, TN--It will be a very pleasant for our "hump day" in the Mid-South! Sunshine will be out in full force again despite a few fair weather clouds this afternoon. More clouds may be present across Arkansas. Temperatures will warm nicely today with highs in most locations climbing into the upper 70's to near 80 degrees. The warming trend will continue through Friday when temperatures peak in the mid 80's. It will end abruptly on Saturday as our next weather-maker arrives late Friday.

Scattered showers will arrive Friday afternoon across the extreme northern tier of the Mid-South. A few showers may arrive before midnight along the I-40 corridor, but the majority of the rain will arrive during the day on Saturday. Much colder air will push into the Mid-South following the shower activity. Temperatures will drop quickly throughout the the day. Highs on Saturday will only top out in the lower 60's. Overnight lows to follow will drop into the lower 40's with 30's a possibility in the most rural areas. Highs on Sunday will be very chilly in the upper 50's.

Have a great Wednesday everyone!
