MEMPHIS, TN--I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Today will not be quite as nice as yesterday. Scattered showers will be possible this morning until 8 a.m. By mid-morning, drier air will start working into the Mid-South and sunshine will return by lunchtime. Temperatures are noticeably cooler already. High temperatures today have already happened (occurring around 3 a.m.) and have been steadily falling into the 50's. Temperatures will remain steady for the most part, but afternoon sunshine could tack on a couple extra degrees later on.
Clear skies tonight will allow temperatures to drop quickly after sunset. Tonight will be the coldest night of the weekend with lows below freezing in town with outlying areas dropping into the 20's. Saturday will feature sunshine and chilly temperatures. Highs tomorrow will be hard-pressed to hit 50 degrees in the afternoon. Milder weather will return Sunday ahead of our next rain-maker to bring heavy rain to the area on Monday.
Have a wonderful day everyone!
