MEMPHIS, TN--Clear skies will allow temperatures to drop off quickly tonight, but increasing moisture should help to keep lows a little milder. Lows tonight will drop into the low and middle 40's. A strong southerly wind will push highs on Wednesday near 70 degrees in the afternoon. Clouds will increase Wednesday evening ahead of our next strong weather system to move through overnight. Isolated showers and storms will be possible after sunset in part of Arkansas. A line of embedded rain and storms will move across the majority of the Mid-South after midnight. A few embedded storms could be on the strong side with damaging winds possible. Winds will quickly shift to the northwest as the rain moves east, causing a drop in temperatures by Thursday afternoon.

Thursday will be a blustery day with temperatures falling into the mid 40's by the afternoon. Winds will very gusty with gusts as high as 40 miles per hour on Thursday in the wake of the front. Milder and sunny weather returns for Friday into the weekend.

Have a good Tuesday evening!
