Memphis--The Winter Weather Advisory and Ice Storm Warning for the Mid-South have been cancelled or reduced. An Ice Storm Warning remains active along and east of a line from Oxford, Mississippi to Jackson, Tennessee until 6:00 a.m. Icy spots will continue Tuesday night and early Wednesday. By mid morning Wednesday, temperatures will rise above freezing and the Mid-South will begin to thaw out. Quiet weather will last through the end of the week and weekend. Temperatures will warm steadily and highs in low 50s arrive for Friday & Saturday. Another cold front will bring temperatures down Sunday followed by even colder temperatues Tuesday.
