Memphis Weather--A cold arctic air mass will settle across the Mid-South Wednesday and Thursday.  Moisture will return atop the cold air leading to a cold rain south of I-40; a chance for rain or freezing rain along I-40 quickly changing to rain; and a more significant freezing rain threat for the northern counties.  Dry air below 5,000 feet will limit the amount of rain or freezing rain Wednesday night and Thursday morning.  Rain amounts will increase during the afternoon.  Temperatures will be above freezing by afternoon ending the threat for freezing rain.  Fog may develop Thursday night into Friday morning.  Friday afternoon - Sunday will be dry and warmer.
