Skate Odyssey in Olive Branch is hosting a fundraiser for two local animal rescues on Sunday, July 29 from 6-9 p.m.
The event will feature roller skating and fellowship among some serious animal lovers.
Skate rental is available at no cost for those who do not own their own skates.
Money raised in this fundraiser will go to help the rescue dogs of Hearts of Gold Pit Rescue and Red Banks Rescue.
A "rescue dog" is a dog that has been rescued from possible euthanasia after being found as a stray, a dog that has been saved from an abusive or neglectful home by an animal rescue organization, or a dog that is simply no longer wanted or can no longer be cared for by its owner.
