Dr. Rose Mary LaGrange-Brown, a native Jacksonian, is the creator/owner of The Urban Eye. Dr. Brown is a third generation Optometrist following her great aunt & uncle, who opened the first optometric clinic in Jackson in the 1930's. Her father, Dr. Carol LaGrange, joined their practice in 1959 and inspired Dr. Brown to follow in his footsteps. She is a graduate of Jackson Central Mary, Middle Tennessee State University and Southern College of Optometry in Memphis. Dr. Brown lends her 20 years of eyecare experience along with 4 years of medical training from an Ophthalmology clinic to better serve the Jackson area with all of its eyecare needs.
