Dr. R.L. Miller graduated from Tennessee State University and the University Of Tennessee College Of Dentistry in Memphis. He has spent considerable time working on medically compromised patients (adults and children), in the Bronx, New York at the BRONX-LEBANON HOSPITAL CENTER.
Dr. Miller's philosophy, "to serve and teach", brought him back to Memphis to set up Miller Dental Health.
Did you know…?
Did you know that a child’s first visit to the dentist should take place by the first birthday? As a Pediatric dentist my training allows me to handle the wide range of issues associated with children’s dental health.
Important tidbits that all parents should know include: teeth should be cleaned as soon as they erupt; children should not sleep with any beverage except water; and their teeth need to be brushed or wiped before bedtime as well as proper brushing and flossing techniques
It is never too early to early to keep an eye on your child’s oral development. We can identify orthodontic needs early and help prevent more extensive treatment later.
Did you know that carries are more prevalent in children’s health than asthma? Also that something as simple as proper diet could mean healthy teeth and gums? As a Pediatric dentist my training allows me to handle the wide range of issues associated with children’s dental health.
Diet plays an important role in your child’s dental health. It’s important that you feed your child fruits, vegetables, grains, meat, and milk as a balanced diet is necessary for early tooth development. Since what you feed your children can have a direct reflection on their teeth, be sure that none of these foods remain on the teeth at bedtime.
Remember to implement foods and beverages that are low in sugar to help prevent decay and make routine check ups.
