BATESVILLE, MS -- A South Panola High School standout safety has been chosen to play in the 2013 Under Armour All-America High School Football Game.
Antonio Conner will receive an honorary game jersey Oct. 10 (Wednesday) as part of the American Family Insurance Selection Tour. It will take place in the school's media center at 9:00 a.m.
At 6-2, 200, Conner is a 4-star player and is ranked as the 25th best player in the country on the ESPN Top 150 list. He is also the top player in the state and second in the country at his position.
At least nine Southeastern Conference programs are interested in Conner's talent including Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Arkansas and Alabama.
The sixth-annual Under Armour All-America Game is set for 4:00 p.m. CT Jan. 4, 2013 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla. and will be televised on ESPN. In all, 90 students will suit up for the game.
