ALTAMONT, Tenn. (AP, abc24.com) - Two young brothers in Tennessee have been killed after their go-kart rolled onto a road and was hit by a car.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol told WRCB-TV that the impact sent the go-kart about 100 feet down the road and both boys, 11-year-old Nicholas Keener and 4-year-old Calvin Keener, were partially ejected.

Emergency crews responded to the scene Saturday afternoon in Grundy County and found Calvin dead at scene. His brother was pronounced dead at Erlanger Medical Center.

Police say no one in the car was injured and no charges are expected to be filed.
