LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP, abc24.com) - Authorities in Arkansas say two more people are dead in a homicide and kidnapping case involving a distant relative of former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee.
Arkadelphia Police dispatcher Dusty Welch says that Donald Hux was killed Sunday night during a shootout with law enforcement officers after he shot and killed his ex-wife, Amy Huckabee.
Their deaths come after Amy Huckabee's husband, Sandy Huckabee, was found dead Sunday at the couple's home in Arkadelphia, which is about 70 miles southwest of Little Rock.
Authorities issued an arrest warrant for Hux on capital murder, kidnapping and other charges. Welch says the shootout took place in Union County in southern Arkansas.
Sandy Huckabee's father was the first cousin of former presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee's father.
