JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. (AP) - A Jonesborough woman has pleaded guilty in the death of a man killed when a pickup truck crashed into his bedroom.

Ashley Dawn Langworthy entered a guilty plea to a vehicular homicide charge on Friday, according to The Johnson City Press.

The 24-year-old Langworthy told Criminal Court Judge Richard Cupp she remembered having five alcoholic drinks at a club on March 20 and then remembers that there were bricks inside her truck cab.

Police said Langworthy's blood-alcohol reading was 0.18 at the time of her arrest. The presumed intoxication level is 0.08.

Police said Langworthy's pickup ran off a curve and through the wall of Glenn Edward Smith's apartment, killing him in his bed. Smith was 71.

Her plea bargain allows probation when she's sentenced Dec. 5.
