LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP, abc24.com) - Little Rock police say officers have shot and killed a man during a drug raid.
Lt. Terry Hastings says officers were conducting a drug raid Tuesday morning at a home near 13th and Tyler streets when the shooting occurred.
Neither the officer involved nor the victim has been identified.
The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports that a woman and child were also at the home at the time of the raid, but neither was injured. Hastings says that the officers conducting the drug raid were met by a man holding an AK-47.
Hastings says officers shot the man before he fired any shots. He says police are still investigating whether any drugs were in the home.
