MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - He's accused of at least 10 felonies in nine hours. A Kentucky man is behind bars in Nashville after a crime spree that left police scratching their heads.
24-year-old William Todd was arrested nine hours after he got off a Greyhound bus in Nashville on March 25.
Cops say he broke into a local business and stole a taser, revolver, shotgun and t-shirt before burning the place down.
From there, cops say he robbed four people at a bar, tasering one of them and pistol-whipping another.
After that, he reportedly carjacked a taxi driver and then used stolen credit cards to buy food at Wal-Mart.
Next, cops say he broke into and vandalized a law office where he reportedly defecated on a desk and spread feces on several framed law degrees.
Then they say he robbed several hotel guests.
After that, cops say he crashed the first taxi so he tried carjacking another. When he was unsuccessful he took off and hid out in a water tower at the Opryland Hotel, where he was apprehended by police.
William Todd is currently being held in jail on $180,000 bond.
