OLIVE BRANCH, Miss. (AP, abc24.com) - An Olive Branch landowner has dropped her objections to a church cemetery in an area dominated by industrial development.

The Commercial Appeal reports that the decision clears the way for the cemetery to be located near USF Holland trucking company.

Judy Morrell, who said she bought the land around the church as an investment, had argued a cemetery could interfere with future industrial development.

The church sits across from the trucking company and, while some of the surrounding land is zoned for housing, much of it also is zoned industrial.

City officials did not give a reason for Morrell's decision.
