DYERSBURG, Tenn. (AP, abc24.com) - Authorities in West Tennessee are searching by helicopter and on the ground for a missing mother of four after her vehicle was found abandoned with a flat tire.

Karen Johnson Swift, a 44-year-old Dyersburg woman, was reported missing on Sunday by her husband. Her car was found on a road, but her cell phone has not been found.

Dyer County Sheriff Jeff Box said a Tennessee Highway Patrol helicopter equipped with a heat-sensor performed an aerial search Tuesday morning. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is also forensic
processing Swift's car.

Box said the investigation is still being treated as a missing person case and there have not been any signs of foul play at this time.

the swift family and mine have been friends for yrs and i know karen would not put her family thru anything like this.she luvs her family. we all have marital problems but david swift would never hurt anyone, especially his family.so please quit automatically saying that he had something to do with it and start praying harder for them all. please, karen, come home safe and know that we all love u.
