LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Police in Little Rock say a 17-year-old girl has become the city's third homicide victim of the year.
Sgt. Cassandra Davis says jasmine Simone Young died at a local hospital and two other teens were wounded in the shooting outside a gas station. Davis says the three were shot while sitting in a vehicle at the gas station Wednesday night while a fourth person in the vehicle was not injured.
Davis says there have been no arrests and the motive for the shooting is unknown.
A police report says a witness inside the station told officers that he saw several people in the parking lot when gunfire began and that three men then ran from the scene.
