KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP, abc24.com) - An East Tennessee child has died after a homemade swing collapsed on her at the family's home.
Knox County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Hillary Coward said the victim was 7-year-old Josie Fine, who died Wednesday night after the afternoon incident.
Coward said the swing set was made of telephone poles.
The Knoxville News Sentinel reported the girl's father performed CPR on her until an ambulance arrived and took her to University of Tennessee Medical Center.
Coward declined to elaborate on the injuries, saying an autopsy will determine the cause of the girl's death.
