KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Tyler Bray threw four touchdown passes without an interception Saturday as Tennessee defeated Kentucky 37-17 in the season finale for both teams.

The victory assured that Tennessee (5-7, 1-7 Southeastern Conference) wouldn't go winless in SEC competition for the first time ever.

Bray threw a 21-yard touchdown pass to Zach Rogers in the first quarter and a 42-yarder to Justin Hunter in the second quarter to give the Volunteers a 20-7 advantage. After Kentucky (2-10, 1-7) reduced Tennessee's lead to 20-17 midway through the third quarter, Bray put the game out of reach with a 29-yard touchdown pass to Mychal Rivera and a 21-yarder to Cordarrelle Patterson.

This marked the final game for fired Kentucky coach Joker Phillips, who went 13-24 in three seasons. Tennessee offensive coordinator Jim Chaney served as the Volunteers' interim coach in place of Derek Dooley, who was fired Sunday.
