Grizzlies Make Roster Move

Memphis, Tennessee – The Memphis Grizzlies waived forward Josh Davis, Grizzlies General Manager and Vice President of Basketball Operations Chris Wallace announced Tuesday.

Davis (6-8, 235) averaged 1.9 points and 1.8 rebounds on .370 shooting in 8.7 minutes in 15 games for Memphis this season. The 31-year-old holds NBA career averages of 2.3 points and 1.7 rebounds on .373 shooting in 7.4 minutes in 67 games over four seasons with the Atlanta Hawks, Philadelphia 76ers, Milwaukee Bucks, Houston Rockets, Phoenix Suns and Memphis Grizzlies.

A native of Salem, Ore., Davis was originally signed by Memphis as a free agent on Dec. 10, 2011.

The Grizzlies’ roster now stands at 14 players.
