FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - BJ Young scored 19 points as Arkansas cruised to an 86-51 win over Delaware State Saturday night.
The Razorbacks recorded one of their most lopsided wins of the season by connecting on 58 percent of their field-goal attempts, including a season-high-tying 10 three pointers. Freshman Anthlon Bell hit four shots from beyond the arc to finish with 12 points.
The Hogs (9-4) complemented their hot shooting with a suffocating defense that resulted in 23 points off 16 Hornets turnovers. Arkansas held Delaware State (6-9) to 38 percent shooting and allowed only seven made field goals before halftime.
The Hornets started hot by taking an early four-point lead before going cold. Delaware State went 7:01 without a field goal in the first half while Arkansas used a 23-2 run to seize control of the game.
Casey Walker led the Hornets with 13 points.
