Rhodes College women defeated Louisiana to advance to round two of the NCAA Division III Tournament. The Lynx pulled out a thriller by erasing a 6 point Wildcat lead in the last two minutes to win 59-58. Rhodes took a 34-22 lead into the dressing room at the half, only to see Louisiana College take a 58-52 lead with 2 minutes left in the game.
Lauren Avant led the Lynx with 17 points, Sarah Johnson had 13 and Catherine Eckert 12. Natosha Gottlieb led the Wildcats with 22 points.
