TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - Former University of Memphis head coach Larry Porter has been added to the staff of new coach Todd Graham at Arizona State University.

Graham will not announce what specific duties Porter will have until he hires his entire staff. That task is expected to be completed in the next few days.

Before taking the Memphis job two years ago, Porter was an assistant coach to Les Miles for five years at LSU, and had gained a reputation as one of the top recruiters in the country. Porter lasted just two seasons as a head coach and was fired last year after going 3-21 in two seasons at his alma mater.
