AUBURN HILLS, MI (abc24.com) - Memphis Tigers fan Justin Hawkins proudly remembers the last time the U of M squared off against Michigan State. "50 to 20. I told them Pastner needs a flash card he can hold that up that just says 50 to 20."

That was in the 2008 NCAA tournament. The Tigers led 50-20 at halftime, and went on to win that game 92-74.

John Ramey knows Michigan State fans haven't forgotten that thrashing the Spartans suffered at the hands of the Tigers. "They're ready to get us back, so I know that."

That game is one Tom Izzo, Michigan State Head Coach, is ready to forget.

"We burned that tape," he said. "We burned the copy of any press book that had that score in it, Doc. We got rid of that thing. You know we were down 50 to 20 and I think it was worse than that. That Rose kid they had. I don't even want him watching the game. If he shows up I'm definitely going to be upset. I'll tell you that."

The University of Memphis Tigers take on the Michigan State Spartans on Saturday, tipoff is at 1:45 p.m.
