Kala

Kala is a sensitive young lady. She loves animals, particularly horses, and being outside. Kala excels academically when she puts her mind to it. Kala is a very artistic and creative child. She enjoys making jewelry, scrapbooking, drawing and coloring. She is making genuine efforts to deal with the losses and challenges in her life. Kala’s case manager says, “Kala is a friendly and loving child. Kala has had a very tough life and is really working hard toward making her life better.”

Kala needs a family that will be patient, loving and nurturing. She would thrive in a home that could provide a very structured environment. A good family for Kala should be consistent and able to set clear boundaries for her. Her family will also need to advocate for her in the school setting and participate in her counseling. Kala’s greatest need is for a family that will love her unconditionally and will be willing to make a long term commitment to her. Kala has had many disappointments in the past. Because of her hard experiences with her family of origin, Kala may need a longer time and extra help from her adoptive family to learn to trust them and form healthy attachments in the family unit.

A child who tries to get involved with most of activities around him/her are normally seen to excel in academics. The main reason beside this is their freshness and using the ideas learned from outside world in studies. Eg: seeing a biker lowering a bike around a curve the kid can learn that for minimizing a distance around the curve he tends to lower his bike. The more he lowered it the less distance he needs to cover from the curve. This is centripetal, centrifugal force in physics. http://www.1to1tutor.org/
