A child who tries to get involved with most of activities around him/her are normally seen to excel in academics. The main reason beside this is their freshness and using the ideas learned from outside world in studies. Eg: seeing a biker lowering a bike around a curve the kid can learn that for minimizing a distance around the curve he tends to lower his bike. The more he lowered it the less distance he needs to cover from the curve. This is centripetal, centrifugal force in physics. http://www.1to1tutor.org/
