Meet this week’s Waiting Child! Six year old Keona has an infectious smile with a huge personality. She loves to sing, clap, listen to music, and cuddle.
Keona is a sweet, happy child who has special needs. Her vision is impaired & she can not walk on her own. Yet with these challenges, Keona has made huge strides learning skills in the past year AND has the potential to learn so much more!
When speaking with Keona’s supervisor Christine Cherba, she says Keona needs a family that is very loving and heart warming towards her, one that is going to provide all her basic needs but also continue to get therapies so she can make the same amount of progress she has made in the last year.
