Mark’s Weather Experiment allows children to learn about the weather up close and with a hands on approach.
Mark and the Eyewitness Weather Team visits schools throughout the Mid-South to educate students about the weather. Through different demonstrations, students will learn about temperature, air pressure, wind, cloud formation and other weather phenomena. They will also learn about weather hazards and how to stay safe during severe weather. This year
WatchLearnShop.com has joined the team and will donate a safety weather radio to each school we visit during the school year!
To have Mark or a member of the
Eyewitness Weather Team visit your school, a teacher, principal or guidance counselor should fill out the request form below. School visits will take place Tuesday through Thursday. Requests will be handled on a first come first served basis. If you are a parent or a student, please let your teacher know that you are interested in having the
Mark's Weather Experiment visit your class. Due to high demand,
Mark’s Weather Experiment will be capped at 100 school visits for the 2009 -2010 school year.

Because of the demonstrative nature of the presentation, smaller groups of children (100 or less) will work best. However, we will still come if you have a larger group. Finally, the school visit will be videotaped. Portions of the visit may be used during the
ABC24/CW30 Eyewitness News Newscast to spotlight each school visit. Please let us know ahead of time if there may be a conflict of interest with a student.
