Seattle Grace is now down five doctors on Grey's Anatomy!
With the fate of the hospital on the line, the surviving doctors of the plane crash and Callie decided they wanted to try to buy Seattle Grace themselves. But that proved to be a little difficult considering some of the group — ahem, Arizona and Cristina — weren't necessarily on board with that decision. Arizona, who had lost her leg in the crash, didn't want to give up her share of the settlement money, while Cristina believed they should trust Owen's judgment on going through with the Pegasus sale.
However, once they realized the consequences of the sale — Bailey would've quit and the interns would've left — they decided to join in on buying the hospital. But when Pegasus decides to buy the hospital three days early, long before the doctors have found a partner to buy the hospital with them, there's only one way to stop the sale: Quit Seattle Grace.
Earlier in the hour, Owen had mentioned to Cristina that if any of the doctors left, the buyer would pull out. Cristina used this information to their advantage, even if that meant Owen feeling betrayed. Derek, Meredith, Cristina, Arizona and Callie all quit their jobs, forcing Pegasus to take the deal off the table.
So now what? If Derek & Co. don't get the money in time, Seattle Grace will have to close its doors! Will they be able to save the hospital? Check back with TVGuide.com to get scoop about what's next for the hospital.
Grey's Anatomy airs Thursdays at 9/8c on ABC.
