Just after 3:00 a.m. Saturday morning, MPD officers responded to a shooting at Club Venue at 2514 Mount Moriah. Several club-goers were involved in a fight when a female pulled out a gun and began firing shots. Officers were able to locate a 32 year-old female victim and a 22 year-old female victim on the scene. They were both transported to The Med. The 32 year old female was listed in non-critical condition and the 22 year old female was listed in critical condition.
While on the scene, officers received more information that 3 additional shooting victims had been transported by private vehicles to St. Francis Hospital, Baptist East Hospital, and The Med. Among these victims, a 26 year-old female and 23 year-old female were both listed in non-critical condition; a 20 year-old male was listed in critical condition.
There is no more information available at this time about the female suspect involved in this shooting.
